About Me
My Work
I'm a creative leader and theatre director who believes that strong storytelling – whether on stage or across an organization – creates clarity, belonging, and momentum.
My career has moved between professional theatre, arts education, and organizational leadership, including senior creative roles shaping brand voice, campaigns, and content strategy for national institutions. I bring the same approach to every environment: listen deeply, define the story that needs to be told, build systems that support people, and lead with empathy and rigor.
Whether I'm directing a cast, guiding a creative team, or partnering with executive leadership, I'm most energized by work that connects people to purpose and helps complex ideas become human and memorable.

Biography
My professional life has unfolded across rehearsal rooms, classrooms, conference halls, and creative teams, shaped by a belief that thoughtful storytelling and strong collaboration can change how people experience art, education, and institutions.
Over the past two decades, I've worked as a freelance theatre director and producer working in regional, community, and educational venues across the United States, while also holding senior creative and content leadership roles shaping how organizations communicate with their audiences. Most recently, I served as the Senior Creative Director for the Educational Theatre Association, where I led creative strategy across video, digital, print, and live-event platforms.
Earlier in my career, I worked on Broadway with Disney Theatrical Productions, overseeing the development of licensed plays and musicals for schools, regional theatre, and professional companies worldwide. As a writer, editor, and project manager, I have contributed to more than 50 titles, including Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Shakespeare in Love, and Freaky Friday, as well as educational adaptations of Moana, Frozen, Finding Nemo, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Mean Girls, Crazy for You, Anastasia, and others.
I've also collaborated with iTheatrics, the Junior Theater Festival, and President Obama's Turnaround Arts program, partnering with educators, students, and professional artists to build sustainable theatre programs and develop new works.
Currently, I reside in Raleigh with my husband, Ash.
